GOP blocks Democrat’s Bill to Prevent Outsourcing Jobs

Republicans called the bill nothing more than a pre-election political ploy.

The Democratic bill, which fell seven votes shy of passage, would have ended certain tax breaks for companies expanding overseas while giving new tax incentives to businesses bringing jobs home. CNN

Sen. Barbara Boxer, D- California, is airing an ad against her opponent, former Hewlett-Packard Chief Carly Fiorina, saying she “shipped jobs to China while Californians lost their jobs.”

So, if you want corporations to continue outsourcing jobs to foreign countries—vote Republican. If not, vote Democratic.

You may have to move to China to keep your job.
